A globally recognised sporting club is hiring for a Finance Manager job. The club has a huge global presence, and has a very high turnover due to merchandising sales. This role will be based within the club's stadium, in the heart of London; and you will be able to experience the thrill of this prestigious venue at work.
Your new role
You will ultimately responsible for the development and delivery of strategies, services and standards. You will also be in charge of the production of the month end Management Reporting Pack with explanation of actual variances to budget.
This role will also encompass a small amount of budgeting and forecasting, and therefore some liaison with other commercial teams around the club.
You will work on the detailed analysis of staff costs and other key cost lines, and with the employer being a sports club, there is an element of analysis into player salaries, as well as other members of routine staff.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant, with a keen desire to work within the leisure industry, an interest in sport is not required for this role - but it will help you to enjoy your office location.
You will also need to have the ambition to work in a creative, environment - and be able to manage a team of 3, 2 of which are non-qualified.
