Financial Services Team Manager
My client, a prestigious Asset Management company based in Birmingham city centre is seeking a Financial Services Team Manager to join them.
You will be overseeing a team of 8 and your role will be focused on delivering operational plans in providing an effective service to support, enhancing the client experience, promoting a culture of leadership and engaged employees driving competencies through Client focus and getting it right first time.
The incumbent will possess a passion for delivering excellent Client service, through their team's efficient processes and demonstrating a proactive approach which can both influence and continually improve the way service is delivered and success is measured.
The role will provide strong leadership, direction and support to team members. Coaching performance and quality to raise standards and output within budget & to SLA. Working with other team leaders to share best practice, supporting each other to ensure all teams get the job done to quality and SLA.
Key accountabilities of your role will entail:
- Managing the teams workloads ensuring payment processing deadlines are met in accordance with Client SLA's.
- Maintain the first line of compliance defence by ensuring business services adheres to business processes and procedures designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FSA rules and guidance.
- To manage financial risk, audit and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that roles that you are responsible for are performed by individuals with the appropriate knowledge, skills and expertise and that competence is maintained and assessed.
To be considered for this vacancy you must have at least two year's experience working as a Team Manger within Financial Services. A basic understanding of stock-broking and financial industry would be beneficial but not essential.
