Your New School

Your new school provides a broad and balanced curriculum for students whilst recognising that some young people who are in hospital are not able to access full time education, due to their mental health issues.

Your new school prioritises the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and ICT. They also provide opportunities for young people to study Humanities, PSHE and undertake creative learning opportunities.

The curriculum is complemented by integral therapeutic activities delivered by the psychology and occupational therapy teams. Your new school aims to provide each young person with a personalised education programme to complement their treatment plan. Your new school provides the best support in order to prepare young people for the future by enabling them to reach their potential.

Your New Role

This is an extremely rewarding role. You will be working as an English Teacher 3 days a week, helping secondary school pupils to complete their GCSE and A-Level English who can't make it into school. Lessons have a maximum of 12 children in each class. This role is going to be a long-term role, however, for a candidate who joins the school and makes a real difference in the first half-term, there is a possible opportunity to go permanent.

What You Need to Achieve

* You will need to be a qualified teacher
* Have a degree in English
* Secondary School Experience
