A leading travel agency, based in Marble Arch, is recruiting for a Financial Controller job. Having built up a reputation over the last 40 years as one of the best in the business, the company is now looking to ensure the continued success of the business, and this role is available due to the current Financial Controller retiring.
Your New Role
You will be responsible for managing the finance function, with a team of 6 - and ensuring that they are managed effectively to reach their full potential. However, due to the small size of this finance team; you will also be involved in the month-end process, as well as supporting the budgeting and forecasting.
You will have a direct report into the CFO, and so must be able to support them on financial matters, with an amount of ad-hoc project work.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant, with at least 5 years PQE, and experience as a Financial Controller, or similar.
You must also have experience using Sage accounting software, as well as liaising with auditors, and managing a team.
A background with Travel, Leisure or Hospitality is desirable within this role as well, though not essential.
