My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydrology and Hydraulic Modelling, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant who specialises in Economic Appraisals to join a supportive team of specialist Consultants and Engineers based in Manchester. It is essential that applicants have a MSc and or BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Environmental Engineering and have proven experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Economic Appraisals using FCERM-AG for Flood Risk Projects and Cost Benefit Analysis. It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Option Appraisals or Project Management. As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to manage and complete Economic and Option Appraisals for large scale Hydrological, Flood Risk and Surface Water Projects for Private and Public Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies. The role will involve the following; -Flood Risk Assessments. Flood Consequence Assessments. -Economic Appraisals using FCERM-AG for Flood Risk Projects -Cost Benefit Analysis for Business Case processes for Flood Risk Investments.
