Role Overview

Delivering great marketing in our changing world needs a new approach that involves far more skills than traditional marketing functions often include. That’s why we have invested heavily in our Marketing technology and are have formed multi functional teams that focus on agile delivery and follow the principals of rapid testing and hyper personalised marketing. In essence, we’re bringing together all of the marketing technologies and all of roles we need into each agile team so that they can truly create, define and deliver their ideas to our 16m customer base via what is essentially, very much like our own in house agency.

We are now looking for an SEO Manager (Exec) to be our UK subject matter expert and who will develop drive and implement the UK SEO strategy with the intention of maximising overall search traffic, conversion and return on investment.

You will:

Work with UK Customer Experience teams to optimise content creation and all web copyDevelop and implement link-building strategyManagement of local content agencyPerform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisationRegular competitor analysis and monitoring.Work with the DP&D team to design and build optimised templates in Adobe Experience ManagerWork with the Development team to ensure technical SEO best practices are implementedDevelop and manage working relationships with external search agenciesMeasure effectiveness of SEO activity and report back to stakeholdersDeliver elements of training on the basic principles of SEO within relevant teams, where requiredUtilise data from a wide mix of channels to guide SEO strategy and help to formulate wider joined-up channel strategies.Keep up to date with the latest search industry updates and industry changes; brief stakeholders on relevant opportunities and threatsAttributes & Experience

You will:

Be an all-round SEO SME, with a proven track record of successHave functional experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Adobe Analytics, WebTrends)Be experienced in A/B and multivariate testingHave an understanding of customer acquisition and how SEO functions within the wider channel mix.Have proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and BingBe experienced with core SEO tools such as Search Console, rank tracking tools, crawling tools and backlink analysis tools.Have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraintsWhat will I get from this role
