Digital Marketing Executive York Perm Role My digital agency client based in York are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Executive on a permanent basis. The Marketing Executive will be able to call upon the full spectrum of marketing skills, be able to identify the appropriate tools and optimum media mix to be employed, and be able to utilise an innovative range of tactics and strategies in the delivery of said marketing activity from customer consideration to purchase. The Marketing Executive will also work with sales teams, Services practices and additional internal stakeholders to deliver successful projects. Responsibilities: To devise, plan, execute, drive and evaluate marketing campaigns for Trustmarque and selected vendor partners. - To work in partnership with Campaign Managers, vendor partner representatives, sales staff and any other relevant internal stakeholders to lead and develop high-impact, outcome-oriented campaigns. - To identify effective messaging, value proposition, channels and calls to action to encourage positive behaviour from existing customers and the acquisition of new customers. This will include analysing and segmenting data from existing customers together with making recommendations relating to any sourcing of new data, as required. - To recommend, select and drive the optimal mix of sales and marketing activity in order to achieve commercial objectives. - To design, create, manage, measure and report on eMarketing initiatives, utilising the full range of online media tools and tactics, and to keep up to date with the advancements in online promotion. - To build strong working relationships with stakeholders within Trustmarque's vendor community and to attend training sessions in the process of developing vendor-specific knowledge and skills, as required. - To be develop and recommend new ideas for improving campaign effectiveness. - To work in close partnership with sales leadership and direct sales teams in rolling out and managing campaign performance. - To monitor and measure campaign activity effectiveness and results, response rates and ROI, and publish relevant MI (Management Information) - Digital, Editing & Journalism - To manage and edit marketing material, including copywriting, proofing and collating content from external parties. - Carry out updates and maintain company website information through the content management system, utilising SEO techniques to optimise content and enhance search engine rankings. - To create content in support of the company's programme of offline print and online media, including customer case studies and testimonials through directly interviewing customers in person or over the phone. - To take ownership of specific marketing projects as requested. - To utilise robust proofreading or checking processes in the review of all internal (generic editorial) or external (vendor-authored editorial) prior to submission to production houses or publishers. - To input, assist with and potentially manage video content for online publication. - Social media - Given the increasing importance of social media in contemporary marketing strategy, the Marketing Executive will be able to demonstrate experience and competency using social media channels: - To use appropriate social media channels to promote core product and services to existing and prospective customers, whilst strengthening the company's brand/market positioning as an industry thought leader and customer-first consultant. - To create and manage the schedule of social media activity to support campaigns, events and other relevant marketing activity. - To promote and demonstrate best practice disciplines to all internal stakeholders in relation to usage of social media platforms and with full adherence to the company's HR and IS policies for same. Essential The ability to manage and write for social media channels, using relevant analytical tools; - The ability to analyse data accurately, track ROI and campaign or activity performance; - Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills for communicating to individuals and groups; - The ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities effectively; - The ability to see tasks through to completion and within agreed timescales; - The ability to influence and obtain outputs and results from various stakeholders across the business; - The ability to build strong, productive relationships on both an internal and external basis. KNOWLEDGE Excellent understanding of public and private market sectors, market trends, and the competitive landscape; - Good understanding of Channel sales processes and the role of a reseller; - Basic understanding of IT in general, networks, and business critical systems; - Have a broad understanding of the company's commercial and non-commercial goals, and to keep up to date with strategy and progress against plan of the Sales, Partner & Marketing departments' strategies in particular; - Be able to demonstrate a basic awareness of Trustmarque's customer base, and knowledge of our key customer and supplier contracts; - Thorough understanding and demonstrable use of the 'full marketing mix', including a working knowledge of the latest innovations and advancement in digital marketing and online media; - To acquire and maintain and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Trustmarque's solution practices and services portfolio.
