Your new company
An established global market leading business is looking for a full time Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join their finance team due to structural changes in the organisation. This organisation is based in Wakefield walking distance to public transport.
Your new role
As the successful Accounts Receivable Team Leader you will be responsible for supervising the accounts receivable team, the day-to-day running of the accounts receivable function, resolving accounts receivable queries, chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days. Processing & generating reminder letters and monthly statements. Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.You will have the support of the finance manager who you will work closely with you on a daily basis, liaising with the necessary departments to resolve outstanding queries.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous accounts experience, ideally with an account receivable background. AAT qualification is desirable but not essential or previous finance management experience. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive & have attention to detail.. Previous experience as a Sales Ledger, Finance Administrator, Finance Officer or Accounts Receivable is desirable.
