SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER We are looking for a Social Media Manager, who will have experience in setting up and running social media channels - ideally in a retail or leisure environment. You will have used (and potentially) implemented Enterprise Social Media Systems as well as having a strong understanding of native apps. You will be customer centric with a real passion for engaging with customers and colleagues. You will have strong copywriting skills and some basic design skills. As well as experience of working with customer service to resolve and manage customer feedback. A strong team player, you will have a passion for all things digital and a natural curiosity for new innovations. You will have worked as part of a multichannel marketing team and understand the role that social pays in delivering key campaigns and business targets. You will love data and understanding how customers are reacting to what we do. You are curious about new developments and love trying new things. About your role . Our social media channels are in their infancy and we want to build Bingo's Buzziest Community across them. You will help us move from broadcast mode into conversations and community. You will develop and implement a social media strategy across central and club channels - all 129 of them! You will develop an ongoing content plan and develop campaigns to drive advocacy and new customer acquisition. You will work with our Head of Digital Acquisition and agencies on paid social activity and with both internal and external creative teams to develop engaging content. You will work with our Operations Team and L&D team to look how we harness the passion of our staff to drive our club sites and harness their advocacy. Bingo is a social game and we want to harness the social power of our customers to drive new players to the game. Longer term, you will manage and develop as social media exec and also offer mentoring support to staff in key clubs to help their local skills. You will be gatekeeper to our social media channels and will feel comfortable challenging where activity isn't on brand. Where does your role fit in? You will work as part of the Marketing team based in New Castle House. However, your role will support activity in clubs which will mean some out of hours working. Our digital team is based in London and you will need to build strong relationships with them. Your tasks and responsibilities . - Development of Social Media Strategy for both national and local social media channels. - Development and delivery of ongoing content plan which engages customers and colleagues. - Management of agencies and/or creative team for content production for social channels. - Test and learn approach for new functionality and channels as they arise. - Develop social media tool kits for local clubs and offers additional mentoring and support to our larger clubs. - Pro-actively works with Customer Services to ensure customer issues are resolved. - Working with the wider marketing team to help define and deliver campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels. - Working with HR to define policies and support that support colleagues getting involved in social media to promote the brand as they are our biggest advocates. - Product owner of current social media systems and for any future development. - Reporting on the effectiveness of activity. - Defining and delivery Test and Learn activity. - Work with the Digital Acquisition team on paid activity. - You will play a key role in bringing our event strategy to customers. - Work with other teams to communicate our company brand through channels such as Linked in. - Line management You'll aim to achieve . - An increase in engagement across all of our channels and growth in discussion about bingo online. - The use of social media to drive advocacy from staff and colleagues to drive new customers. - Drive awareness and people to events. - Bingos Buzziest Community online Your knowledge and experience . - Experience of running and developing social media channels in a retail or leisure environment - ideally where there is a combination of national and local channels. - Experience of content planning and production - creation of posts and briefing of agencies/teams for multimedia. - Management (and potentially on boarding) of Enterprise Social Media Systems. - Working with Customer Services and PR to manage and resolve issues - confident at reacting at pace. - Creation of best practise for wider staff and mentoring of them. - Working with wider teams to deliver multichannel marketing campaigns. - Record of innovation and confidence in trying new things. - Clear understand of customer segmentation and how that impacts on content planning. - Comfortable with pulling together reporting from multiple channels to optimise current and inform future activity. Your skills . - Strong copywriting and ability to create simple visuals/multimedia - Strong planning skills - Very IT savvy and used to dealing with data - Confident in dealing with multiple stakeholders - Good team worker - An understanding of paid social media and use of tools for data capture - Briefing of requirements and working with creative teams/agencies Other requirements: - Driving license Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 pa + 20% discretionary bonus and company car
