Gibbs Hybrid a leading global people based technology company have an opportunity for an IT Assistant.
This role is based in our Wallington office but some travel to our offices in Manchester, Cheshire, Northampton and Dublin may be required on an occasional basis (all reasonable travel expenses paid for)

Brief Description
To assist with technology project work, analysis of IT system requirements and supporting ICT users with system installation & setup, IT facilities training and diagnosing technical faults.

Detailed Description
The role of IT Assistant will include but is not limited to

*Supporting the Technology, Research & Innovation team with various IT Project work spanning Hardware, Software, Cyber Security, Mobile Technologies and Systems Integration;
*Dealing with enquires from ICT Users with issues accessing IT systems or with processing data necessary for the performance of their work duties
*Assisting company new joiners with ICT setup and installation and providing basic PC and Windows 10 guidance
*Supporting the evaluation of new technology solutions to solve business problems and increase ICT User productivity
*Testing systems and solutions to ensure they function as required and reporting any test failures for further diagnosis
*Keeping track of project and Infrastructure work by using an online Agile Project & Task tracking tool and providing reports to show work status

Requirements
*Excellent Communication skills
*Previous helpdesk experience within a business environment
*PC Literate
*Proven interest in Technology
*GCSE Maths and English A-C
*Experience of travel and communicating with new people
