Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education Teach First Science (Part time)

The Manchester Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Lecturer in Science Education to work primarily on its new Teach First Secondary PGDE course. You will work as part of a team contributing to Teach First Secondary provision and where appropriate to the wider PGCE/ ITE programmes and undertake appropriate course leadership, management and administrative duties. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, together with recent and relevant experience of Initial Teacher Education in higher education or the School sector. Applicants are expected to hold a Master's degree (or be near completion). A PhD is desirable.
