Do you want the chance to contribute to the leadership of a supportive mathematics department?

You will support the Head of Mathematics in leading a team of inspirational teachers and ensuring that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching methods that complement the academy’s strategic objectives, building upon the success already achieved.

About you:

If you are passionate about teaching and engaging pupils in order to raise standards through a creative and aspirational learning environment then this could be the role for you. You must;

  • be an enthusiastic, committed and energetic scientist
  • be able to demonstrate a range of teaching skills and behavioural management techniques
  • be able to enthuse, motivate and inspire a team of staff and pupils alike.

About Us:

Our academy was opened in September 2013 by the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength with the most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2015 judging the academy as “Outstanding”, noting pupil behaviour as “exemplary”. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential.

In Return:

You can be assured that you will be joining a successful Multi-Academy Trust that has a great track record in helping children to succeed regardless of their background. The Trust is dedicated to valuing and developing the workforce, through ensuring a fair workload and offering access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance professional growth.

Visits to our academy are warmly welcomed; please contact Hannah Best, PA to the Principal, on 01733 821441.
