Desktop Support Engineer - Windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policy, PC's, Networking My Higher Educational client based in Central London is seeking a dynamic, hands on and technically proficient Desktop Support Engineer with strong hardware, Windows 10, Active Directory and Group Policy Admin, PC & Network experience. You will have excellent diagnostic skills, looking after desktop and hardware based around Windows 10 Operating Systems, Active Directory TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN, PC's and other MS Office technologies. Duties will include: ? Provides end-user support for basic technology and application questions and problems ? Support end-users at their desks when necessary. - Build PCs to a high standard. - Test PCs thoroughly after build. - Test, diagnose and repair PC faults in returned PCs. - Assists in the deployment of new hardware and software. - Sets up new and loaner computers for end-users. The ideal PC Support Engineer MUST HAVE a proven track record of installation, configuration, administration, fault finding, troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10, Active Directory and Group Policy Admin. Any support of Apple Mac systems is a bonus. Excellent TEAM WORKING, INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION skills a must. You must work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines. Group Policy This is an initial 6 month contract based in Central London and is paying a rate of £180-£200/Umbrella Company basis.
