Plan International UK strives to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

Our Supporter Relations team acts as a first point of contact to our supporters, including sponsors, those responding to appeals or disasters, groups, schools and fundraisers. As Supporter Data Processing Coordinator, you will play a key role in recording and maintaining all supporter details, transactions and preferences.

You will work flexibly within a team of four to record and upload all financial transactions for our supporters and record all Gift Aid declarations, generating thank you and other fulfilment letters, ensuring that our supporters are given an excellent service.

With proven experience of working as part of a team in a busy office environment, you will be able to process large and varying volumes of financial data and have regularly used a database. You will have knowledge of direct debit and gift aid processes and procedures in the UK and will be able to find and share solutions to improve our supporter care systems and processes.

The deadline for applications is 9:00am on Monday 16 October 2017

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 25 October 2017

Due to the nature of our work with children, we follow rigorous child protection policies and procedures in our recruitment process. As a result, some of our roles are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee or volunteer; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences.
