Job Title; Senior Purchase Ledger Location; Halifax Consultants; Karen Reynolds and Andrew Schofield A Senior Purchase Ledger Controller role has arisen at our Clients Head Office - based close to Halifax. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager and working as a Senior across the Purchase Ledger team you will work to process Payments and prepare Reconciliations across the UK / Europe and China. The role will focus on Stock Purchases. On a day to day basis you will work across; - Match Supplier Documentation - Purchase Orders / Delivery Notes / Invoices etc for all Product Imports - Liaise with Warehouse / Operations and Suppliers - extensive Query Management and Resolution - Shortage / Overage / Prices etc. - Process of Stock Purchases - Invoices / Freight Invoices - ensuring Prices / Duty and Freight details are correct - Assisting with procedures / processes and Reconciliations of Ultra's Bonded Warehouse Stock - Preparation of Supplier Statement Reconciliations for Stock Supplies - Processing of Payments - Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Reports - Assisting with Month End Close - Ad hoc duties as required This role will be based in the heart of Finance - which is a vibrant and hard working team. The role will require a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. If you have commenced your AAT that would be useful but it is not essential. Strong Excel skills are a must - a knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
