I am working with one of my established clients who is looking to recruit a professional H&S Graduate/Advisor with a strong background in Telecoms & in particular mobile infrastructure sites. The successful candidate will be notionally based in my client's Gloucestershire offices but travelling throughout the UK. My client is one of the largest providers of network support services to the UK mobile & fixed-line telecoms sector, and offers a complete range of end to end support services to their network operator clients. Established for 25-years they manage the life cycle of their customer's assets & focusing on the deployment of new sites; the maintenance and optimization of existing networks; and the management of the portfolio of base station & Outside Plant (OSP) assets. Summary of Duties & Responsibilities: *Ensure that appropriate SHEQ systems and procedures are in place, comply with project contractual requirements and are enforced through the business *Ensure SHEQ routines are collated and completed in a timely manner *Carry out 'unannounced' Health & Safety inspections (primarily 3rd parties/suppliers/contractors) and write reports as outlined in the Company's Site Visiting Service definition *Generate safety reports and documentation such as, but not limited to, Risk and COSHH assessments as requested *Promote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area of operation *Help to maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the business security policy in order to protect individuals, information and assets *Attend meetings relating to health and safety as Client's health and safety representative *Train people in as many aspects of safety as you are competent to do *Generate internal and external reports and documentation as necessary *Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by your Manager or a Director The Successful Applicant: As the successful candidate for this Interim SHE Advisor role you will have: *NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate *2-Years+ related work experience (ideally Telecoms or Utilities) *Working knowledge of Health & Safety and UK Regulatory processes and systems *CDM (2015) Knowledge (Certificate Desirable) *Driving licence Pay & Benefits: *£28,000 - £32,000 pa *Car Allowance (c. £300/Month) *Company Credit Card (Travel related expenses) *Company Health, Life & Pension schemes For more information, please contact Martin Hazard on ************** or alternatively send your CV, together with a short summary detailing specific experience related to fulfilling this challenging and exciting role.
