With a turnover in excess of £170m,Your Housing Group is looking for a ‘classic’ Group Financial Controller to lead and manage a centralised, expert financial services function, delivering best practice in financial control services to stakeholders across the Group. The ideal applicant will have extensive experience of preparing statutory accounts and policy documents and preparing and presenting group consolidated management accounts.

To be successful in the role, you are required to possess the confidence to present to 50+ employees as the role forms part of the Audit and Risk Committee which includes the writing of clear, concise Board Reports. We are therefore looking for an engaging individual with excellent people skills who is confident to challenge, as well as be challenged by others.

This role forms part of Your Housing Group’s Finance Management Team. You will work with colleagues to ensure that the Finance function delivers on its commitments to deliver accessible, proactive, customer focussed financial services that add value to our customers and ensure that the assets of the Group are safeguarded.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.
