Restaurant Manager / Maitre d with outstanding 5 star standards required for an exceptional new concept due to open soon in North Lancashire, Salary of £24-28,000 dependent on experience!

Our Client is looking to open the latest concept in their highly successful and diverse range of dining establishments. They want a Manager with a Maire D background to provide a touch of decadence and style in serving afternoon tea that brings the Dorchester to Lancashire. With a business portfolio that includes multi-functional sites in several parts of the country, the intention is to roll out this new copcept to the other outlets.

The Role

You will be managing a stunning new stylish new café with the very latest equipment and point of sale system. While quality of service and food are expected at all times, it will the service of opulent afternoon teas that will be the unquestioned highlight of the day, served with a style and standard that create a 'wow' factor amongst your customers. Front of house you will be the director of the show, ensuring your team are trained in giving exemplary service. Back of house you will be responsible for achieving budgetary targets, enhancing sales strategies, and providing clear concise reports to higher management.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as a Maitre D or Manager in a lounge or restaurant that specialises in the service of high standard afternoon tea. You will have a strong knowledge of excellent standards of food and food service, but it will be your ability to be the face of the business, creating a loyal customer base that will be the key to your success. Your experience of sales and marketing, and financial management will be considered, as will your track record in training and motivating your team. It goes without saying that you will be fully aware and compliant with all relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.

The Benefits

A competitive salary of £24-28,000 dependent on experience is offered for this full time position. An excellent benefits package includes a generous and achievable bonus, private healthcare, and fantastic company discounts. An additional benefit is the hours of business which are 10am - 7pm.
