Interim Procurement Category Manager, Northamptonshire
Six month assignment for a Procurement Category Manager with food industry background - day rate plus expenses - October start.
This is an urgent role for an Interim Purchasing Specialist. You will head up a category as a stand-alone procurement category manager on the site reporting into the Procurement Director.
A confident operator, able to lead on this category and develop and implement new procurement strategies for the Group, you will have an extensive food industry background with the supplier network to make an impressive impact.
Reviewing the supplier base, identifying potential risks and mitigating where appropriate, analysing supply chain weaknesses/strengths and leading negotiations on all contractual matters, as with all roles at this level, will be included in the remit.
You must have availability for an October start.
