JOB DESCRIPTION: Purpose of the Role: To cover provide cover for either planned or unplanned absence across various client sites. Job Description: Senior Service Desk Analyst - 1st/2nd line support. Working within Plan-Net teams to offer a high resolution fix and high performance Service on Managed Service Desks. The role will entail providing first and second line Service Desk Support for a limited number of financial and legal sector clients offering a good level of support within specified SLA's across varied technologies, some standard, some bespoke. Time on each site may vary from one day to months on site. Additional Information Training to be provided onsite by the client and the duration will be from 2-10 days onsite. Essential Skills & Experience: A background in Service Desk, Senior Service Desk or Desktop support is critical with 3 years proven track record in the IT industry. Someone from any sector will be considered given the diversity of this role, although financial experience will set the candidate above the rest. Technologies supported are varied but will include MS Office to v10 and Windows to v7, knowledge of remote working, Active Directory, Exchange, ITIL, BES and call management within key Service Desk management tools is vital. Good hardware and analytical skills required Key Attributes - Proactive, Technically competent, Ability to adapt to different working cultures and requirements, customer centric - appearance, behaviour, positive can do attitude, outgoing, customer focused with excellent customer service skills and ability to add value immediately. Top Ten Attributes: - 2-3 years proven track record in the IT industry. - Service Desk and Desktop Experience. - Willing to work across a multisite environment. - Adaptability to adapt to different working cultures and requirements. - Customer centric - appearance, behaviour, positive can do attitude, outgoing, excellent customer service skills and ability to add value immediately. STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS. - Technically competent. - Strong troubleshooting ability. - Proactive and forward thinking. - Flexibility in working hours. - ITIL exposure. ***MUST UNDERSTAND - Travel is involved between sites in and around London.
