Can you help us to deliver fantastic residential developments by getting the best value from our contractor and consultant partners?

Notting Hill Housing exists to provide good quality housing to those who otherwise couldn't afford it. We are inspired by the impact we can have and are passionate about creating a better London. We believe that we could always do more and in 2018 we plan to merge with a like-minded partner, Genesis Housing Association so that together we can make a bigger difference for those in housing need across London and the south east of England.

Our development programme is well established and targets 1,600 homes per year. As we grow and through our proposed merger with Genesis this is due to increase to 2,700 homes annually. That's both ambitious and exciting, particularly as our pipeline includes both private and affordable residential tenures as well as non-residential uses, forming vibrant mixed communities.

To support our development programme from 2017 through to 2022, we recently procured a new primary framework of over 170 contractors and consultants of various disciplines. We additionally have various secondary frameworks and supplier relationships to maintain and develop.

We're giving you the opportunity to ensure we are getting the best outcomes from these contractors and consultants, on both cost and quality. You'll do this by building stronger connections with our existing partners, improving our internal processes and performance monitoring tools, and establishing new strategic supplier relationships.

We'll trust you to drive value for money and regulatory compliance in our procurement processes and supply chain management strategies. Because of that you'll be able to shape this role and make an impact. In your first six months alone you'll lead projects such as leading framework supplier engagement day(s), designing and implementing KPI monitoring/reporting, as well as developing intelligence on our suppliers' capabilities. You'll also make your colleagues' jobs easier by creating standard template documents for running tenders and appointing suppliers from our frameworks.

Our team drives positive change so we'll support your focused approach to getting things done and delivering results. As our go-to person on supply chain matters, you'll utilise your experience and commercial knowledge to support our project managers in delivering successful schemes.

Collaboration and getting the best from our contractors, consultants - and your colleagues are central to this role. For this reason you'll be an excellent communicator with experience of managing professional relationships. You'll be key in driving our performance, so your awareness of both the commercial and compliance aspects to procurement will be important to make your mark in this role.

We're open minded when thinking of hiring the right person. You'll need to demonstrate an understanding of property development, construction or affordable housing, and have experience of performance monitoring and data analysis. Beyond that, we'd welcome interest from candidates from a wide range of backgrounds - including (but not limited to) procurement, business performance, contract management, project management, or policy and compliance roles.
