My client is currently recruiting for an exceptional Finance Manager or Managing Accountant to look after the day to day operations of their London based finance team. This broad and exciting role sits in their Central London office and requires the right candidate to manage an ever-evolving team of 6 with occasional floating temps. The role will involve producing full management accounts, performing one-to-one KPI meetings and getting involved with all the transactional aspects of finance as well. Duties will involve but not be limited to the following;
-Producing full management accounts
-Overseeing all accounts payable function
-Overseeing all accounts receivable function
-Overseeing all credit control duties
-Overseeing all management of team of six
-Budgeting and forecasting
-Heavy involvement in budget analysis
-Other ad-hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a team as well as coming from an SME background or alternatively having been involved with a smaller division within a larger company. Experience in a top-to-bottom role involve all aspects of transactional accounting as well as KPI delivery is highly desirable. The ideal profile will also be at finalist level with regards to their ACCA/CIMA exams or alternatively have already qualified and have some considerable experience in a similar role. A good level of English and an excellent understanding of Excel is also essential with Pivot tables / Vlook-ups as a bare minimum. Ultimately this candidate needs to be prepared to get involved in all aspects of the business.
