Software Developer (MVC, C#, NET) | Home Working Opportunity
Whenever I speak to prospective candidates and ask them how their job search is going, I always hear the same complaints... adverts, adverts and you guessed it... adverts!
Namely, that adverts never describe what the candidate will be doing!
So being a fan of breaking the mould, I thought I would strip this advert down to its basics and focus on the Who, the What and the How...
WHO THEY ARE:
'They' are an established Software House and certified Microsoft Gold Partner who have delivered world class solutions for their customers since their creation way back in 2010 (seriously... where does the time go!).
They are a tech company in the purest form, proud of their culture and proud of the amount of time and money they invest to make sure their employees are always using the latest tech. Fundamentally, they are a collaborative team of Technical Architects, Software Consultants, Software Developers, Project Managers and Engineers with the unified goal to create highly scalable and quality solutions.
They are located within close proximity of the Shard in modern and spacious offices, offering a relaxing and inspired environment for their employees.
WHAT THEY NEED:
This part is simple... they need a Software Developer with a 'full stack' skillset and a background developing applications using the Microsoft technologies stack.
The role will involve a range of projects with a focus on core Microsoft products (SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Azure) as well as development using C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Web API and RESTful Web Services. There will also be an opportunity to work on CMS projects using both Umbraco and Sitecore.
You will work on everything from core back end development to UI development and will get the opportunity to work across the full Software Development Lifecycle.
Moreover, they have a 'quality-first' approach to software development and need somebody familiar with coding standards and industry best practice. They also operate an Agile development environment so an understanding of Scrum would be a huge bonus for this position.
Fundamentally, they need somebody who is keen to learn and who is willing to collaborate as part of a wider development function.
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT YOU:
Simply put... it will be a challenge but an opportunity to learn and grow with a genuinely successful organisation.
You will benefit from joining a highly collaborative company culture where communication at all levels is encouraged and will get the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Also, due to their status as a Microsoft Gold Partner, you will be given the opportunity to earn Microsoft certifications and qualifications to boost your skillset.
On top of that, they offer a highly competitive base salary (between £45,000-£55,000) as well as a varied benefits package. They also offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home a couple of days per week.
So if you have read through this advert and feel that the 'Who', the 'What' and the 'How' have been successfully answered, then give me a shout to discuss this role in greater detail!

Anything discussed will remain completely confidential.
