North West Region, Flexible Location

Salary: Fixed Point Salary (£65K)

Permanent – 35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Head of Landlord Compliance & Assurance on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Liverpool.

Our client is the largest registered provider of social housing, made up of nine social housing based solely in the North West of England. They are delivering a major transformation change programme, in the way in which they deliver services and how they are structured as a business.

As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping their customer services and supporting their wider operational teams, they are looking for a Head of Landlord Compliance & Assurance to join their newly formed Property Team, responsible for over 28,000 homes

You will take on strategic responsibility for ensuring compliance with Landlord statutory obligations and regulatory undertakings, including policy development and the implementation of our risk management approach towards compliance.

Reporting to the Property Strategy Director, you will develop and deliver a comprehensive Group compliance and assurance strategy which:

  • monitors and maintains compliance policies; management plans; processes and training;
  • provides verifiable assurance throughout the Group that it is compliant in all areas in line with policies;
  • develops reporting systems and formats to a range of audiences to evidence compliance internally and externally;
  • develops the strategy to reduce risk in the medium to long-term;
  • ensures that data management systems are sufficiently robust to support statutory and regulatory obligations;
  • provides specialist, technical support to the Group on all compliance issues.
  • You will manage budgets, resources and priorities of the team, ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources to deliver agreed performance targets and maximise customer satisfaction. You will drive culture change across the business, based on the eight Onward characteristics.

    To be successful, you will be forward-thinking and diligent, with a proven track record in the development and delivery of compliance-related programmes.
