You are comfortable leading highly technical team whilst maintaining your own technical capability in Data Architecture. You are able to work with project teams managed in a matrix management environment. You are proven in working in smaller focused teams being part of a global programme. You are looking for a role where you will be making a direct impact on the company and one of their most important programmes. The Role: You will work closely with internal teams, end users, and analysts to understand business requirements for the programme and translate these requirements into technical specifications (functional and non-functional) and viable technology solutions including. The scope of the technical solutions will need to include, but not limited to - Data analysis and capture - ETL and data queries - Databases (storage, staging, data warehouses for cubing, analysis and visualisation) Takes ownership of the technical aspects of assessing potential new data source sites for the programme, including: - Provide key input into project planning, technical approach and resource management for the technical due diligence of new sites, including IT and data assets, related infrastructure and data quality metrics - Provides guidance to team members performing technical due diligence, analysis, installation and configuration duties at data source sites - Interprets technical findings into solutions which may enhance/ augment existing infrastructure and data assets for evidence generation (security, information governance and data privacy requirements) - Prepares reports, deployment plans and roadmaps key for decision making by the business leadership summarising current status, approach, solutions and required investment Builds high-performing technical teams who integrate best practices and provides leadership and management to those teams, including: - Helps to attract and retain top talent - Actively promotes shared learning across technology and business teams and facilitates knowledge communities Key Skills: - Strong skills in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling, data lineage \ data flow mapping and data quality - Strong skills in data warehouse design and development - Preferably strong experience in any of the following sectors: healthcare \ life sciences \ clinical trials \ pharmaceuticals \ finance - Strong experience with at least one RDBMS, e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, etc. - Good exposure to SQL \ T-SQL \ PL/SQL - Strong skills in the use of least one ETL tool, e.g. SSIS, Talend, etc. - Able to influence and lead technical teams Networkers acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.
