- Office-based, in central Norwich - Salary from £30,000+ - Company contributed pension - Private medical health care - Death in service benefit This job offers a wealth of opportunity for an experienced developer to take direct ownership of all back-end development of the Commercial Trust website and supporting services and systems. Technical knowledge as web developer: The website CMS is built in Umbraco and you will need proven experience in: Required: - C# - .NET - ASP.NET - MVC - SQL Server/TSQL - Visual Studio - HTML5 / CSS3 - JavaScript / JQuery Desirable: - Umbraco - XML - JSON - Windows Forms - Windows Services - REST and SOAP - Tortoise SVN - AMP A keen understanding of developing for optimal organic search engine performance is also a requirement of the job. The website integrates both with our databases, our advisor platform and our email platform and with proprietary software in-house, for which you will be responsible. You will work alongside a front-end design developer day-to-day, but will be able to share ideas with other developers within the wider group companies. The team the web developer role sits within: You will join the marketing team, who are a close-knit group of commercially focussed individuals, required to drive new business enquiries into the sales team (who broker buy-to-let mortgages, commercial mortgages and bridging loans) via the company website.
