1st Line Support required for a Client in London Due to the urgency of this position, preference will be given to candidates who hold current security clearance to CTC/SC level, however the client will also consider candidates who are prepared to go through security clearance to this level. Role description The role is part of the Digital and Technology Team (DATT), which delivers modern and flexible digital and technology services that are cost efficient whilst maintaining high quality services to users. The First Line IT Support Analyst provides first level support through taking calls and handling resulting incidents or Service Requests, using the incident management and request fulfilment processes, in line with Service Desk objectives. Key Tasks and deliverables Daily responsibilities will include: Receive, log and manage calls via telephone, email and customer portal #9679;Maintain an Asset Database and track changes #9679;Log all calls in the Service Desk Call Logging system (Jira) #9679;Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles #9679;Through Active Directory; create user accounts, reset passwords #9679;Escalate issues/unresolved calls with 2nd line support where problems cannot be resolved at a 1st line level #9679;Good knowledge of GMail, Google Calendars and Google drive #9679;Knowledge of Smartphones IOS Android #9679;Excellent indepth knowledge of Windows 8.1 IOS operating systems (mixed estate to support) #9679;Good knowledge of MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint #9679;VERY clear verbal communication skills as 95% of user interaction is over the phoneExperience Required#9679;Minimum 2 year�s experience requiredThe role will run for approx 6 months initially and will be based in London SmartSourcing provides services as an Employment Agency and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of age, race, religion, disability, age, gender or sexual orientation.
