Quality Technician (Lab/Technical/Graduate/Food)Kendal£23,000 to £25,000 + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Flexible working hoursQuality Technician required for a well- recognised manufacturer who offer training and development opportunities as well as opportunities for progression for the successful candidate.You do not need any qualifications to apply for this role and the employer will accept applications from new graduates from a food science or quality background. Candidates with a quality technician background or candidates with knowledge of microbiology are encouraged to apply.The role will be within a busy quality department and involves monitoring process controls such as temperature, weight controls and packaging statistics on the shop floor and updating databases accordingly. The information that is recorded will be used to suggest continuous improvements and regulate products in line with hygiene and food safety regulations as required by customer and BRC. You will be solely responsible for structuring the daily taste panel of products that were produced the previous day. The role is heavily paperwork focused and you must be computer literate to apply.This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to take their first step into quality control or for a candidate who wants to receive training and to progress within their role.
