Fantastic opportunity for Systems Engineers with an interest in Air transport / Air traffic control. The role would suit Graduates with some relevent working experience (this can include a placement year or internship or work in a systems engineering environment) from 3months to 5 years+. Excellent global company based on the South Coast of the UK. You will be a key member of a dynamic System Engineering team', working on one of the largest and most exciting Air traffic control ATM systems projects in the world? Essentially you will possess the following skills: Proactive systems Engineers with some experience in Air traffic systems from an internship to a couple of years 2:1 Honours Degree level in Engineering. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team when required. Resilient with the ability to manage a heavy workload and sometimes conflicting priorities and tight deadlines. Pro-active in planning, with strong, organisational and decision making skills. Self-motivated with the ability to see innovative solutions to problems and the enthusiasm to drive them to a successful conclusion. Willing to learn new concepts and methodologies Excellent team worker Strong collaborative behaviors around Communication, Cultural understanding, flexibility to change, sharing knowledge, and achieving collective goals. Knowledge of A.T.M. concepts (Air Traffic Management) Finally, the development of a strong relationship with our customer is a key performance indicator associated with this position. Strong collaborative behaviors around Communication, Culture, Change, Share and Goals. Desirable skills consist of: Knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile, Scrum, etc) Knowledge of software architecture concepts and tools (i.e EA) Experience of requirements management and requirement management tools (i.e. DOORS,) Experience of performing integration and verification testing.
