BRAND MARKETING & PR STRATEGIST Do you have experience leading PR and outreach campaigns that have helped companies find and expand their audiences? Have you developed content campaigns to help increase brand awareness for your clients? Do you have a contacts book full of journalists and influencers? Have you got an overflowing portfolio of creative ideas that have been well executed and met their objectives? Have you got a way with written words that persuades, entertains and informs? If so, you would be perfect for the new brand marketing strategist role within our high growth client. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and execute PR, outreach and content strategies on behalf of clients to meet a range of objectives e.g. improved brand awareness, improved search visibility, increased conversions, etc Write a range of short and long-form web copy - from landing pages, blog posts and news stories to infographic content, reports and white papers, and so on Build relationships with journalists, influencers and bloggers Secure and analyse media coverage DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS/SKILLS: Creativity - an ability to find and execute unique and interesting ways of telling a story or communicating information. A desire to innovate and help to push the content team forward Curiosity - an interest in and understanding of current affairs and a desire to learn new things Excellent writing skills and knowledge of grammar Strong PR and outreach skills An understanding of SEO and social media Analytical - be comfortable finding newsworthy stories within statistics and research Attention to detail - pride in your work and the desire to create the best possible pieces of work. Will also be required to sub-edit peers' work with honesty and to a high standard Teamwork - much of our strategists' work takes place alongside client teams that comprise web optimisation specialists, client services managers, and so on. They need to be able to work together within that team to decide on the best possible digital marketing strategies and division of activities to drive results for each client Initiative - will be responsible for managing their own workload and responsible for leading strategies from inception to completion Adaptable - comfortable working on B2B/B2C clients from a wide range of industries and ability to adapt tone of voice to suit different audiences Organisational and time management skills Confident communication and presentation skills BRAND MARKETING & PR STRATEGIST DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2+ years in a PR role Experience managing others Writing, PR or journalism qualification Desired, but not essential: Experience planning and managing press / influencer events Experience running a full PR / outreach campaign which resulted in strong coverage If that sounds like you, get in touch!
