Desktop Support Engineer / Systems Admin You will be totally responsible for ALL company IT support for around 50 users, some office based, some remote. Supervising a placement graduate who is mostly self supporting. My client a boutique financial services company at the forefront of their industry are seeking an in-house desktop support engineer combined with systems administration to manage the companies on-site and remote working technical capabilities. You will need to be multi tasking and have a variety of skills - with a clear head to cope with the peaks and troughs. Working from their offices based in Surbiton in what is a lively environment you will be dealing with all the issues on a daily basis that arise with technology. For this Desktop Support Engineer / System Admin / Technical Support role you will need to have the following. - Some capability to write PHP code with some ASP Classic for the times that are required to work on the company web pages and CRM system - Along side this you need ideally Asterisk Free PBX or extremely similar - Exchange Server - MySQL and MSSQL as a database for CRM and Website - Maybe some Cisco Meraki and Firewalls - Windows Server mostly with 1 Linux Server Fault finding, dealing with all technical queries on a ticketing system.
