Our well established and successful, growing client within the fashion industry have a new exciting permanent opportunity for a Merchandising Administrator to join the team within their Gloucester offices. Key Activities: - Working closely with buyers to plan product ranges from available products. - Arranging for stock to be delivered or transferred between stores to maintain agreed stock levels. - Becoming familiar with store processes for recording, returning and transferring stock. - Suggesting stock promotions/price reductions as appropriate. - Review sales, stock and ranges by store to ensure local and target demographics are met. - Produce weekly financial stats and assist buyer in presentations. - Store visits on an agreed basis to understand local requirements, meet staff and improve knowledge to maximise sales potential. - Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs. - General assistance in supporting manager when appropriate. Education & Qualification: - Good GCSE Pass in Mathematics & English. - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Ability to analyse and organise large amounts of data. - Strong ability to prioritize and organise workload. - Ability to work independently and act on own initiative. - A confident communicator, both written and verbal. - CIPS or other recognised qualification an advantage but not essential. Hours - Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5pm Salary - £17-19k
