Position: Database & Support Care Officer
Location: Mortlake, South West London (13 mins from Clapham Junction and 23 mins from Waterloo)
Contract type: Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 months
Hours: 35 hours per week, some out of office hour's work will be required
Salary: £20,000 per annum

About the Role:

The Database and Support Care Officer will ensure that the database is kept up to date at all times and provide analysis and reports to support the delivery of fundraising activity from individuals, groups and partnerships. You will be responsible for continuing to improve data quality through fundraising and communications team training, data clean up and completing any additional data projects as they emerge.

Additionally you will be responsible for delivering effective database support in a calm, professional and organised way that increases the capacity of the department. Working with the Finance department to ensure all donor records and transactions are up to date and correct on the CRM system.

About You:

You will have experience and a good knowledge of Excel, Raisers Edge, or a similar CRM and will have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also have experience of data segmentation and experience of working within fundraising or a customer facing environment.

Additionally you will have knowledge and understanding of the implications of the data protection legislation and an understanding of gift-aid legislation and tax claim practice. Strong computer software skills, particularly in Raisers Edge, Excel and Word are essential and you will be financially literate with good record keeping skills. Advanced skills using Import/Export function and Crystal reports within Raisers Edge NXT is desirable.
