Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their team based in Leeds. You will be on a full time permanent basis. Salary for this role is £18,000 for the right candidate.

Our client is a fast growing, dynamic travel ancillaries Company and looking to employ a full time Finance Assistant to join their busy Finance Department.

They specialise in airport parking reservations nationally and globally, with over 1000 car parks available for sale across 34 countries in 12 languages and they are now considered the international market leader for consolidation services within the airport parking sector.

The Finance Assistant will provide administrative support within the Finance team, helping them with the day-to-day operational finance activities and must have sufficient experience in account reconciliations and excel.

Key responsibilities of their Finance Assistant

- Compilation, Sending & Reconciliation of car park / transfer supplier invoices / statements and payments.

- Resolving supplier queries and assisting the team in managing their email inboxes.

- Validation processes with third parties.

From time to time there will also be the requirement to provide support with:

- Processing accounts payable and receivable.

- Credit card reconciliations / processing.

- VAT Receipts & Chargebacks.

- ad hoc analysis and tasks as required to help support the business.

Key Skills, experience and qualifications

- Microsoft Excel, must be a proficient user of excel, being able to use advanced functions with ease (Vlookup, SUMIF, SUMIFS etc & Pivot Tables) and comfortable in maintaining the integrity of large volumes of data.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Problem solving skills.

- Organised and the ability to prioritise tasks.

- Good working knowledge of Sage is an advantage but not essential.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
