IFA Sales Support/Paraplanner
Newstaff Employment Services are looking to recruit an IFA Sales Support/Paraplanner to provide technical and administrative support within an Independent Financial Adviser Office.
Job role to include:
Providing technical support to IFAs including product research (investment; pension; life assurance; protection); investment fund performance
All new business and servicing administration
Preparation of Suitability Letters and Client Reports
Preparation of regular Valuation Reports for investment clients
Preparation of paperwork for clients including new applications; servicing forms; trusts; fee agreements; invoices
Submission of life/investment/pension applications (paper; online)
Dealing with general (existing) client enquiries where no advice is required
Liaising between clients and IFAs as appropriate (where advice is required)
Liaison between IFAs and clients with insurance/pension companies and investment companies
General administration including setting up and maintaining client files and records
General administration of group schemes (pension; DIS, PMI)
Assistance with general duties involved with the running of a small office.
Requirements of the candidate
Sound technical knowledge of investments, pensions and protection.
Ideally FPC-qualified, or willingness to undertake relevant industry examinations
Attention to detail; able to work to deadlines; thoroughness
Good telephone manner
Honesty and reliability
Friendly disposition with clients, work colleagues and business contacts.
Knowledge of research and support programmes including Aequos; IRESS; provider websites; general use of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
Ideally experience with Intelligent Office.
Use of technical websites including DH; DWP; HM Treasury; FCA
Adherence to FCA, Data Protection and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
