Our Client; a truly global leader in the manufacture of Specialist Vehicles and Survivability systems are experiencing enormous growth. It is for this reason that we have been tasked with finding an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Project Accountant to join the team as soon as possible on a permanent basis to support their operations in Surrey and West Sussex. The remuneration is to an extent, negotiable, and will based on relevant experience. In all cases, a competitive benefits package is on offer. Working within a small / busy accounts department, and reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will be: - To deliver accurate and relevant financial analysis to the Directors. - To provide relevant support in the form of reports to every area of the business. - To prepare weekly and monthly Project reports. - Assist with Preparation of monthly management accounts to GP level. - Work with Project Management to deliver live current costs to date information. - To assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts on projects. - Assist with the preparation of monthly management pack and all associated schedules. - Assist in preparation of year-end audit schedules and liaise with auditors in relevant areas - such as inventory. - Cash flow reporting on a weekly/monthly basis. - Ad-hoc tasks as required. - To understand and comply with Company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001. Skills and Experience ideally required: - Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant. - Proven experience in the preparation of management accounts. - Experience of managing junior team members. - Knowledge of SAP business one an advantage, but by no means essential - Proficient in Microsoft Excel. - Experience of working within a manufacturing or similar fast paced industry. - Excellent attention to detail. - Good time-management skills (esp. organisation, prioritisation.) - Ability to set and work to tight deadlines, meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards This position offers a fantastic and rare opportunity to work for a leading well established global Specialist Vehicle Manufacturer; so if interested and you have the relevant experience we need to hear from you now?
