Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator with excellent Sage and Microsoft Office skills to work Monday to Friday for their Harlow depot. Depending on experience, they will offer from £9.00-£12.00 per hour pro rata. Since entering the UK market in 1988, they have become the number one provider of mobile/on site hydraulic hose replacement. They are a multi-million turnover business with a network of regional depots across the UK. Duties & Responsibilities: - Contacting customers who have fallen into arrears with their payments - Assessing current financial situations through asking probing questions & building rapport - Collect any outstanding balances or arrange a suitable payment arrangement - Preparing internal monthly accounts - Updating & reconciling custom accounts - Reconciling bank accounts - Processing supplier invoices, making payments using bankline - Accruals, prepayments & journals - VAT return - Completing & sending customer invoices - Obtaining order numbers - Submitting payroll - Ad hoc admin duties as required - They may require you to take on the role of CRM Manager tidying up customer details & follow up calls to customers Candidate Requirements: - Experience with bookkeeping in a practice or commercial environment - Sage & Microsoft Office experience - Knowledge of Sage Line 50 - Excellent interpersonal skills - Able to deal with people at all levels across the range of offices - A good team player committed to providing the highest quality of service standards - Adaptable to working within an evolving & changing environment - Good attention to detail within your work - Excellent time management skills They are keen to hear from people that have experience as a Credit Control Bookkeeper, Accounts Person, Accountant, Accounts Clerk, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or have carried out a similar role previously.
