HEADCOUNT PRIMARY CARE PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - OPHTHALMOLOGY As a result of an internal relocation we are recruiting for experienced primary care pharmaceutical sales representatives in the following geographical area: SR 4268 Thames Valley (OX, RG, SL, HP, MK, LU, AL, WD) SR 4300 Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex (SO, PO, GU, RH & BN) The company in question is a rapidly growing organisations in the ophthalmology arena offering a range of proven, successful brands for the treatment of dry eye and blepharitis. They actively sell products within OTC, optician and hospital settings and as a result of positive formulary positioning and a highly innovative market leading portfolio they created a primary care focused sales team in order to maximise potential with GPs and practice nurses. With sole responsibility for your territory - whilst working as a part of a wider local team - you will work strategically to increase GP and nurse disease area knowledge, educate them about favourable pathways and protocols, and raise awareness of the company's product portfolio in order to increase market share and achieve your sales targets. On this occasion our client is seeking to recruit candidates who fulfill the following criteria: - Ideally educated to degree, or equivalent, level - Has a minimum of 6 months' primary care pharmaceutical sales experience within part of the geographical area in question, although 12 months + experience preferred - Previous ophthalmology product sales experience would be advantageous, but is by no means a prerequisite - Lives on patch - Possesses an enthusiastic, tenacious, positive approach and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment both autonomously and as a team player - Is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who is motivated by achieving and exceeding challenging goals. In return, you will be rewarded with a basic salary paid commensurate with experience and current remuneration (up to circa £40,000), company car (or opt out car allowance if preferred), pension, private healthcare, daily allowance plus benefits package and performance related bonus of up to 20% of basic salary.
