Our client has gained the reputation for producing some of the world's most innovative and inspiring architectural hardware; design led they currently export to the USA, Europe, Australia and the Far East. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant to join their team working closely with their PR Manager and MD to ensure marketing excellence across all areas of the business, both in the UK and internationally. We are looking for a hard working digital marketing assistant who is willing to learn on the job and be passionate and excited by our clients products and their role as Marketing Assistant. You will need to be able to assist in creating marketing materials; maintain the web site (Wordpress / Magento); produce prices books using Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro & studio photography; and manage social media presence along with general day to day marketing duties. About the Job This is a very hands on role and you will be part of lots of different areas of the business from knowing about production to meeting end clients, you need to understand all parts of the business. You will need to be flexible to change but also willing to suggest new ideas where necessary. The business is small but growing some demands can change. We are looking for a hard working digital marketing assistant who is willing to learn on the job. Duties will be varied but will include: - Production of the annual pricebooks, use an existing template in Indesign, edit and adapt to include new products, import excel content, and prepare for print. - Assist in creation of marketing materials, work with the MD to provide content and organisation for new marketing materials produced by a 3rd party. - Upload new products to website - Run by Magento and Wordpress - Maintain current website - with day to day changes - such as Dealer addresses, images etc - Upload new pages, blogs, images and content to website via wordpress. Utilise photoshop to manipulate images to meet format requirements. - Photography of product for the website and marketing purposes - on an adhoc basis - Load products on to ACID design registration site on an adhoc basis - Manage new product process. - Assist with updates on social media - on an adhoc basis - Small tasks updating documentation, organising printing, can be varied and diverse. The Right Person. - Technical skills to include: Photoshop, Indesign, Wordpress, Acrobat Pro, studio photography. - You must also have very good skills in Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook. - Experience in Magento, Illustrator, Gif Creation useful. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work quickly and efficiently with excellent attention to detail. - Self-motivated - a proactive member of the team and confidently communicate suggestions. - Adaptable and willingness to learn. - Analytical and creative problem solving. - Highly organized, with good time management skills that can prioritize tasks to meet changing deadlines. - A team player with excellent relationship building skills Package. - Excellent salary c£20k to £22k dependant on experience. - Full time position; 28 days holiday - The opportunity to work in a forward thinking and highly successful company.
