Sales Manager - Dealer program We're Zen, a company that has grown from a humble provider of dial up internet (remember that?) to a multi award-winning organisation that provides a range of connectivity, voice, hosting, cloud and security solutions across a broad range of customers and industries. And we should also mention that we were recognised as one of The Sunday Times' Best Companies To Work For in the UK. Our Small Business & Residential division is the largest part of our business, and is the driving force behind our continued recognition in the Which? Awards as the best Broadband supplier in the UK. But, we're not one to rest on our laurels, so we're now launching a Dealer & Affiliate program to drive further growth and success. And that's why we need you. We have a new role for a Dealer Sales Manager to join the division to own, lead and grow this new program in its entirety. The role offers a wide remit to make an impact on the division. You'll be involved in everything from providing input into the dealer strategy & tactics to grow divisional dealer revenue, collaborating with Product Management to relaunch the dealer proposition with new schemes and products, through to working with Marketing to develop and implement impactful plans to drive sales and improve relationships. This is also a hands-on management role where you will inspire and motivate individuals to help the team meet and exceed revenue targets. Paramount to this is providing excellent service, developing the team and ensuring the right solution is delivered to the end customer. Key Responsibilities - Co-ordinate and manage the day to day activities of the dealer team - Responsible for developing and executing new dealer acquisition strategies - Own the dealer commission scheme - Oversee overall dealer performance, taking necessary steps to address service, support or performance issues - Conduct monthly 1-2-1 performance reviews with individual team members as well as formal reviews - Manage individual performance and team personal development - Set key metrics & performance criteria to measure and report on team performance - Ensure the team has the appropriate level of product knowledge and sales skills to support dealers - Building on a strong network of contacts internally and externally Candidate Profile - Significant sales management experience ideally gained in the channel sales, selling comparative product offerings in the B2B IT marketplace - Sound knowledge of the Internet and emerging technology - A track record of delivering sales results - Capable of growing and developing in the role - Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build long term relationships - High level of personal drive and motivation - Team player with sound people management skills - Customer-focused and commercially aware - Able to think creatively and identify and exploit new business opportunities - Strong influencing & negotiation skills - Ability to think strategically whilst achieving results in immediate area of responsibility - The ability to adapt to a changing business and market place
