Office Secretary and Bookkeeper Location: Pluckley, TN27 0SA Salary: £10 per hour Job Type: Part time Approximately 15 hours per week Start date: Immediately About our client: Our client is a fast growing business dealing in the construction and maintenance of both domestic and commercial swimming pools. Their turnover has increased dramatically and they plan to grow still further by covering new markets and territories. They have built up a good reputation within their field of trade and are now a multi-award winning company. Office Secretary and Bookkeeper duties will include: - General administration duties - Bookkeeping and processing - Processing invoices, receipts and payments on QuickBooks online or similar systems. - Bank reconciliations. - Petty cash and expense invoice entry and control. - Completing VAT returns - Payroll processing - The Bookkeeper will maintain regular consistent and punctuality. The Office Secretary and Bookkeeper will need; - Previous Bookkeeping and Administrative experience is essential - Knowledge of Sage Accounting is advantageous - Good communication/ telephone skills and confidence to deal with client queries over the phone. - Competence with Microsoft Office products is essential, especially with use of MS-Excel. - AAT qualified or Part qualified - Experience of working with incomplete records an advantage. - Highly organised and methodical. - Time proficient. - Confident self-starter who can work under their own initiative and must be able to work to deadlines.
