Permanent Educational Psychologist Scale A3 - A8 (Previously awarded SPA points will be honoured) We are a forward looking and well regarded service and EPs are actively involved in systemic work and strategic developments across Children and Family Services (CFA). Cambridgeshire Educational Psychologists work alongside Specialist Teachers and Specialist SEND Practitioners in multidisciplinary teams across Cambridgeshire. As a qualified Educational Psychologist you will be applying a range of psychological theories and tools to your work with schools and other settings, adopting a Think Family approach and working closely with colleagues from other teams to provide a holistic and co-ordinated response to need. Our practice reflects our strong beliefs and commitment to evidence based practice, inclusion, the active involvement of children and their families, and working closely with schools and other partners. You will be working with schools and settings in one area of the County and contributing to key Service developments, strategy and project work. We have a good track record for developing innovative practice, including Marlborough Family Group work, Video Interaction Guidance, support for children and young people with Speech, Language and Communication difficulties, and Cambridgeshire is the Eastern Region Autism Education Trust Hub for schools and early years settings. Cambridgeshire County Council is committed to providing excellent opportunities for continuous professional development, learning and training and EPs receive a generous package of CPD and support. Successful candidates will need to have a first degree in Psychology, recognised by the BPS, a post-graduate qualification in Educational Psychology and be registered with the HCPC.
