We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our Service Desk team on a 7 month initial contract to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to all our YBS colleagues across the group. Although It's a fast paced and varied challenge every day, with the aim being to provide customers with a high quality customer experience, with requests handled efficiently and effectively, with the customer kept up to date on progress at all times, working for the Society and being part of a successful team is very rewarding. Purpose of Role: Working a flexible shift pattern you will provide first and second line support for all of the Society's IT systems as well as looking after the Security access to those systems. You will capture relevant information from phone calls and emails and record this in our support request logging tool, Sostenuto. You will then manage the progress of these incidents and service requests, using problem solving skills to provide a high quality customer experience. The Knowledge & Skills you'll have: * Excellent problem solving and fault diagnosing skills. * Experience of working in a technical Service Desk environment will also be beneficial. * An understanding of ITIL best practices will also be beneficial, preferably certified at Foundation Level. * Good working knowledge of Office and Windows Operating Systems. * A friendly outgoing manner and very good communication skills. * Experience of working within a telephone or face to face based customer service driven environment Rewards and benefits: Not only do we provide the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to our business, we want to recognise and reward that contribution.
