About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Apprentice Business Support Scheme, based in Sheffield. We are creating a new team and as part of the team you will play an integral role in supporting the Aviva Platform Sales team in a wide variety of administration based tasks.

Salary – 17,000 whilst on the Apprenticeship then in line with the area Progression Framework.

You will be supported to study for the CISI Fundamentals of Financial Services (Level 2) and expected to achieve this within 18 months of employment. AS a successful candidate you will be trained in line with our area Training & Development Framework including:

Market awareness and presence

  • In-depth technical and product knowledge and understanding of products
  • Knowledge of regulations and legislation
  • Knowledge of Breaches & complaints
As an Apprentice Financial Services Administration you will work towards the Level two, an accredited apprenticeship scheme with an industry recognised qualification.

Throughout the duration of your studies you will spend a proportion of your time learning on the job, and working as part of a team. Teamwork and adaptability to change in a fast paced environment is key to your development.

You will have dedicated ‘off the job’ time to focus on your studies, working with a National Training Provider to support your accredited learning

About You

We are looking for highly motivated people who are team players. You will need to be dependable and reliable with a positive attitude. You will work within a team but will build close working relationships with the sales teams and their accounts. We are looking for ambitious people who are not only working towards their apprentice qualification but also have a desire to progress their career within distribution and sales.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade A to C (Grades 4 – 9 from 2017)
