TEC Partners has an exciting opportunity working for a prestigious F1 Race Team as .Net Developer specialising in Winform / WPF development. This position will be working internal applications across the business and also has the opportunity to be actively involved in developing software used to calibrate and optimise cars on the track. You will need to have proven experience of Object Oriented Software Development standards and techniques, and be able to implement those using C#. You will be part of an agile development team and be expected to use the best of your skills and development techniques. Key Requirements - A solid background of development in C# using including WPF or WinForms - Commercial C# .NET development experience - Skilled in the following technologies: - .NET (C#, WCF, WPF (Prism / MvvM) or WinForms, EF) - SQL Server - MS Visual Studio 2012 - unit testing and TDD - Create services using WCF - Developing high performance systems - Using unit and automated testing tools - Complex system design and development - Working as part of an Agile Scrum team - UI design - Able to The following technologies would be advantageous but are not essential - Borland C++ - Microsoft C++ - Matlab - Web (IIS & ASP.Net) Expectations: - Work alone or as part of a team on various projects - Perform activities including, but not limited to: research, design, development, testing, maintenance, support - Assist in the design and implementation of new projects - Work on existing legacy code with a view to maintaining and enhancing them - Design and implement new software features and improve existing features as defined by the users and product owners - Investigate and fix coding defects - Write the necessary project documentation including technical documentation - Provide support for the other project team members and users in the build-up to a race weekend - Provide support to the Testers and other members of team to resolve issues - Comply with coding and architecture standards or assist in the creation of new standards when necessary - Be adaptable, committed to deadlines and willing to work in a fast-paced environment At Tec Partners we are committed to being an inclusive organisation that provides equality of opportunity to all in terms of employment, recruitment and the service we provide to our customers.
