Travel - Group Tour Coordinator – Inbound Travel Operator – up to £23,000

The Travel Group Tour Coordinator will be creating unique travel itineraries and is a great opportunity for those with previous experience in a similar role in the travel industry wishing to advance their knowledge and skill set!

As a Group Tour Coordinator, what will you be doing?

  • Quoting, Creating and finalizing travel on the in-house system for all go ahead tours. Co-ordinate UK incoming tour itineraries and all related services, to ensure travel isa success
  • Make necessary amendments to itineraries and control changes and cancellations for smooth running of travel operations
  • Liaise with Sales and other internal departments to ensure that requested services are booked and confirmed within the required deadlines
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for the travel leader and ensure they receive this in good time before the arrival of a group
  • Work closely with all local offices to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure all files/paperwork relevant to operations is up-to-date
  • Assist Destination Travel Manager as needed with tour operation and general office administration as needed
  • Customer services duties, meeting and calling group leaders to problem solve on the spot issues
What do they expect from you?
  • A passion for travel and a strong interest in the inbound travel sector
  • Experience in a travel related role desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of the UK & Ireland
  • Skill in public relations and handling complaints
  • Positive can-do attitude
