The Senior Software Engineer will work across the entire product stack, building smart - auto-scaling, robust systems based on micro- services architecture and AWS. A Senior Software Engineer that have experience of writing algorithms are of keen interest as scale is important. Combination of essential skillsfor the Senior Software Engineer* Java and/or C++ * Git * Automated Build Systems (such as Jenkins or Travis CI) * Building RESTful web APIs * Testing frameworks (such as Junit or Mockito) Desirable skills for the Senior Software Engineer: * Cloud deployments (AWS) * Python * An interest in compression algorithms and/or information theory * Apache Tomcat and/or Spring Boot * PHP * JavaScript * CSS and SASS * Nginx * Scala In addition, a Senior Software Engineer with Mapping , Longitude and Latitude are again of keen interest.The Senior Software Engineer will have the opportunity to works across diverse industry sectors such as Navigation; Mobility;Deliveries, Logistics & Ecommerce; Travel & Tourism; UAVs; Emergency Services; Asset Management; Automotive; Postal Services; National Infrastructure & Government; Humanitarian; Events and GIS.
