EMEA Credit Manager
My client is an International organisation with their UK headquarters based in Addlestone.
They currently have and exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Manager to cover all credit management operations of their EMEA region.
You will also support the business by working closely with the Treasury Manager providing trade finance options and payment solutions to facilitate the business and minimise credit risk for the region.
Risk management and compliance:
·Monitor and comply with current legislation on international financial sanctions
·Assess risk countries and inform appropriate internal and external contacts on latest economic and political issues that affect business decisions
Trade finance and support for business decisions:
·Work with EMEA Treasury Manager to devise solutions for trade finance options using experience of technical and finance products available
·Liaise with key stakeholders (including external lawyers/consultants) to review current business and political issues.
·Support letter of credit (LC) process, giving input to supply chain and sales/customer service in order to guide any LC through process to successful collection of funds
·Mitigate credit risk and improve cash flow by setting and ensuring compliance with EMEA policies and processes
·Analyse credit risk with internal and external credit information and set appropriate credit and country limits
·Manage the credit process to ensure best practice and ensure the most efficient working methods
·Review and prepare appropriate bad debt provision for final approval on a quarterly basis
·Conduct due diligence of new customers based on "new distributor process" and the "customer set-up process"
·Follow up over all debts including regular review processes with the countries and management then taking action in further follow up as necessary
·Set debtors targets and report key performance indicators to management
·Support countries within EMEA in their local credit control processes
