They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their team covering the RG, OX and SL postcodes, with the candidate ideally located in the Newbury or Oxford areas.

Within this role, you will provide a comprehensive gas maintenance and installation service within domestic premises, which will be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations, standards and departmental procedures.

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing central heating boilers and other heat producing appliances relevant to the contract as well as maintaining and repairing the ancillary equipment associated with central heating installations such as pumps, tanks, valves and water pipework.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you are gas qualified and hold current Domestic ACS in the categories of work required. You will also have experience of breakdowns, servicing and installations (preferred), along with Unvented qualification.

With appropriate experience of working in the Gas Industry in relation to the installation and maintenance of gas appliances, you will be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the safety procedures required to carry out the work, and will also have the ability to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings and work in line with our current standards.

As part of the interview process, there will be a small gas question test paper required to be completed.

A company vehicle, fuel card and Flue Gas Analyser is provided as standard and there will also be an Out of Hours rota requirement.
