SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER - ITIL - West Surrey / Remote - Home Working / Customer Site as required - Are you an ITIL IT Service Delivery Manager / SDM / Service Delivery Management / Senior Delivery Management / ITIL /Incident Management / Service Delivery Manager / Operations Manager? The Service Delivery Manager will be the primary point of contact for all nominated customers and will ensure that the contracted scope of service is delivered effectively and efficiently within budget. The role requires a pro-active, customer focused individual, who has a proven track record in delivering high-quality services to ideally both private and public sector customers. My client is looking for a dynamic and pro-active candidate who can drive forward a Service Delivery function.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary Service Delivery contact for all specified/qualifying Client support and Managed Services customers
  • Provide a contact and escalation point for customers relating to operational delivery matters
  • Service prioritisation where conflicting demands on resources
  • Define, implement and maintain Service Delivery processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Definition and negotiation of Service Level Agreements
  • Ensuring SLAs and OLAs are managed and met
  • Lead role to gain and maintain Client's ISO20000 Accreditation
  • Reinforce good practice in ITIL processes and act as an authoritative source for all Service Delivery matters

Job Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Service Management and Service Delivery in an SLA based, multi-tenanted environment
  • Experience in the definition of Service Level Agreements, their implementation, and management
  • Experience of resource management
  • Security best practice awareness
  • Excellent customer facing skills in a Service Management role
  • Report generation and statistical analysis
  • ISO27001 experience
  • ITIL V3 Expert/ V2 Manager


  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • ISO 20000/27001
  • Experience in a commercial IT Solutions provider or Managed Services environment
